Influencer Marketing
While growing my design business, I began sharing my life on social media in 2012, before "influencer" was even recognized as a career. As my account grew to over 50K followers, I started collaborating with brands, creating lifestyle content for their media platforms. I was involved in influencer marketing from its inception, before brands had dedicated teams for this emerging field. During this time, I participated in marketing meetings with top brands like Volvo, Home Goods, World Market, Joann, Bona, and GSK, where I contributed to contract formation and negotiations on brand deals.
During my time at Universal, we’ve brought influencer marketing in-house by developing strong relationships with interior designers for influencer campaigns. I have established contracts, created procedures, and built campaigns that align with our current marketing initiatives and brand identity. My background as an influencer has greatly enhanced my understanding of the relationships, expectations on deliverables, and necessary procedures involved in successful influencer collaborations.
